Board and Train
Full immersion. The fastest path from problem behavior to reliable obedience.

Board & Train is our most intensive program. Your dog comes to us and lives in a structured training environment for 7 or 14 days, working with our team daily. It is the fastest way to achieve lasting behavioral change because training happens across all environments, around the clock, with no gaps between sessions. Your dog is not in a kennel between lessons — they are being worked, socialized, and managed from morning to night.
What's Included
- —Complete behavioral assessment before the program begins
- —Customized 7 or 14-day program plan
- —Multiple structured training sessions per day
- —Controlled socialization with other dogs and people

Ideal For
Owners with complex or multiple behavioral challenges who need fast results. Busy schedules, dogs with significant reactivity or aggression, or owners who want a solid behavioral foundation before beginning owner-led work.
Duration
7-day Foundation Program for obedience and basic behavior, or 14-day Behavior Modification for complex cases. Program begins with an intake assessment.
Programs We Offer
We offer two program lengths based on the complexity of what your dog needs. The 7-day program is suited for dogs who need a solid obedience foundation and basic behavior work. The 14-day program is designed for dogs with significant behavioral challenges — reactivity, aggression, fear responses, or layered issues that require more time and systematic exposure.
- —7-Day Foundation Program: basic obedience, leash manners, threshold work, and impulse control
- —14-Day Behavior Modification: complex reactivity, aggression, fear responses, and advanced obedience under distraction
What Happens During the Program
Your dog is not waiting in a kennel between sessions. They are living in a structured environment where every interaction is managed — meals, walks, play, rest, and training all follow a consistent framework. This consistency is what drives fast change: the dog never gets to rehearse the wrong behavior because there are no unmanaged gaps in the day.
- —Multiple training sessions per day in varied environments
- —Controlled socialization with dogs and people at appropriate intensity levels
- —Daily video updates sent to the owner so you can follow progress
- —Consistent rules and boundaries throughout the dog's stay
- —Exposure to the types of environments and triggers your dog encounters at home
The Transfer Session
The transfer session is the most important part of the entire program. After 7 or 14 days of immersive work, your dog knows the skills. The transfer session is where you learn them. We spend 2–3 hours walking through every command, every technique, and every scenario your dog encountered during the program. You practice with the dog in front of us until the mechanics are clean.
We do not release a dog until we are confident the owner can carry the work forward. If that takes longer than one transfer session, we schedule a follow-up. The goal is a confident handoff, not a rushed one.
“Board & Train builds the foundation. The transfer session is where you learn to maintain it. We do not consider a program complete until the owner can run the work independently.”
How to Get Started
Every Board & Train begins with a consultation to assess whether the program is the right fit for your dog's situation. We review behavioral history, set expectations for outcomes, and confirm program length. Availability is limited — we keep our client load small to maintain quality. Book your consultation to find out if there is a current opening.
